This study aims to explore the perspectives of lecturers on the use of AI in human capital development to achieve SDG-4. Six research questions and six alternative hypotheses guided the study. Descriptive survey research design in a concurrent triangulation of mixed research methods was adopted for this study. Leveraging Artificial Intelligent for Human Capital Development in Africa to Achieve SDG-4 in A World of Uncertainties: Lecturers' Perspectives Questionnaire (LAiHcdASLQ; R= 0.83) and Leveraging Artificial Intelligent for Human Capital Development in Africa to Achieve SDG-4 in A World of Uncertainties: Lecturers' Perspectives Interview (LAiHcdASLI; IRR=0.71) were used for data collection. Majority of the interviewed lecturers are fully aware of the emerging technology known as artificial intelligence, however, majority of the interviewees have low perceptions of leveraging artificial intelligent for human capital development in Africa to achieve SDG-4 in a world of uncertainties calling for reskilling and upskilling by educational stakeholders.
